Weekly Report
This is the weekly report:
This week we are having a mini Commonwealth Games. We will be separated into two teams with Room 3.There will be lots of different sports which I don't know the names of,and I think it will be very fun.
Last week we got a letter from a school in the north island saying hope you're okay from the earthquake and today we will be writing back to them.
As the aftershocks continue, its still a bit worrying to be back at school. Lots of people got affected quite a lot by it, Mikhael, fleeing as he said, to Wellington. Callum H got trapped in his room, quite scary experience for him!I had just being in the loo before it started! Lots of people lost chimneys and some lost homes to this 7.1 earthquake. Lots of families were lucky, they only sustained minor damage, but some have had to have their houses demolished. Knowing now that you always have to be prepared, having torches, bottled water an a few other things will help if there ever is a big on like that ever again.
As camp is getting closer we're getting more and more ready for it. We already know who we're bunking with. Most of us cant wait for camp because we have so many exciting things we're going to do there. It will be heaps of fun!
There are now some choices of sport to do and one of them is a game for deep thinkers, apparently. No,not cricket, not touch but softball or tee ball.Apparently tee ball is a game for deep thinkers, unlike cricket, according to Mr. Williams.Well,in touch, you have to run around most of the time and you have to think who you pass to and stuff like that.So you have to think in touch too!

Weekly Report
This is the weekly report:
This week we've had 2 birthdays. Sinead Washington and Ella Boot. We're still waiting for our cake but for now happy birthday.
As time ticks closer to camp,we have began to talk about it more.Thank you to all the parents who were brave enough to put their name forwards. We are all lookng foward to it.
As Mr. Williams keeps going on about runathon money more and more people are bringing it in. Take Callum Ross for example he raised 172 dollars and 20 cents, wow that's impressive.
We have been doing more and more exercise as the weather has been getting nicer. It is sort of like spring now! Well, sometimes anyway.
This week we have been writing letters to our parents asking for something we would like to have its going well, we'll let you know how its going soon.
Recently we have been using the pods to research the questions that we asked about India.Alok has been a massive help to us!He drew a map of India and labeled a lot of cities.
On Wednesday we went out to see the Kapa Haka team practise for their competition on Saturday, they were brilliant, fantastic, amazing and the Junior team did a few songs too.
On Wednesday Mrs Bateman came into our class to "inspect" us! She only did it because she wanted to check the rumors that we were the best looking class in the world.Obviously we were all very good-looking (apart from Callum Ross).
